Casas del Sol was one of the first developments in Playa Blanca located in a prime position right opposite the little harbour and no more than five minutes stroll to the shops, golden sandy beach and restaurants.

The villas are in clusters but spaced well apart and all are south facing, some with superb sea and island views.

The resort of Casas del Sol has been attractively lanscaped and all the villas are accessed by footpaths so there is no through vehicular traffic resulting in peaceful and tranquil surroundings.

The Accommodation

One enters the villa through wide sliding patio doors into a large lounge/dining area incorporating a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, gas or electric cooker with oven, kitchen accessories and ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

A number of the villas also have some or all of the following: TV, video player, DVD player, Sky TV, CD/Cassette/radio, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

A lobby leads to an attractive fully tiled bath/shower room which may also contain a washing machine. In two of the larger villas there is a bathroom plus a separate shower room. There are either two or three bedrooms and the main double bedroom(s) are quite large with plenty of wardrobe space and usually two single beds. In both instances the second or third bedroom is smaller with either a single bed or bunk beds and are ideal for young children

All the fittings are to a very high standard and the villas can accommodate 2-6 people in comfort (depending on the villa size).

The Local Area

Amongst the many current activities in which one can participate the following may be of particular interest (hiring subject to availability):-
Bicycle Hire - Available in the village.
Golf - Club de Golf Costa Teguise, about an hours drive. 18 hole course open all year. Trolleys, electric buggies and clubs available for hire.
Swimming - In addition to the swimming pools referred to above the various local golden sandy beaches are all ideal for safe bathing.
Walking - Lanzarote has more to offer than just beaches and sunshine, you could be in for a pleasant surprise. "Landscapes of Lanzarote" by Sunflower books reveals all.
Windsurfing - boards may be available for hire in the village.
