Casa Hawkeshead is a beautifully furnished 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa with a private, heated pool in Playa Blanca, on the southwest tip of the island of Lanzarote. It is situated on Las Clavelles, about 10 - 15 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach of Playa Flamingo with it's calm waters being ideal for families with young children. A welcome pack is provided and we can also arrange car hire, flights from Uk airports and travel insurance if required. Playa Blanca itself has three golden sandy beaches, plus the nearby Papagayo beaches (often described as the best in the Canaries), a pedestrianised main street with attractive shops and there is a wide choice of good restaurants and a couple of bars in the village and along the seafront. There is also a harbour where the ferry goes across to the adjacent island of Fuerteventura. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen and the restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view.

The Accommodation

The accommodation comprises a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom upstairs, plus two twin bedrooms on the poolside lower floor, all presented with quality bedding and matching furnishings. You will find every modern convenience to hand: Sky TV, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, CD equipment, oven & ceramic hob and smoke alarms. There are two spacious terraces. The one on the upper level has a beautiful sea view and a dining table and chairs for "alfresco" eating. The lower poolside terrace is ideal to escape the mid day sun. Cleaning is carried out once a week, and this includes a change of towels and bed linen.
